Easy Method for Cooking Dried Chickpeas

I am not sure where I even found this, but I have had make chickpeas on my list of things to do for months and I just kept putting it off. Well, today I decided to just go for it and try it since we have been eating a lot of beans lately. This method worked better than anything I have tried before. It seems like all other methods are more steps and just seem like a lot of work. This was not, so I may have to try it with black beans soon.


Cooking Dried Chickpeas

Rinse and drain dried chickpeas a few times.

Then pour into a dutch oven with plenty of water to cover.

With cover on bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours and 15 minutes. It may take a longer depending on the consistency you prefer.
